Web Design & Marketing Agency in Brussels

Web design and marketing that grows Brussels businesses.

Brussels-Capital is Belgium's only officially bilingual region, and 82% of its 122,725 VAT-registered businesses have no employees, so most of your rivals are small, quick to change and competing in more than one language. We build Brussels websites in French, Dutch and English and run the SEO and ads that fill them, at fixed prices in euros with written replies within one working day.

Sound familiar?

Four reasons Belgian websites lose customers.

Each one is common, measurable and fixable. Here is what goes wrong, and exactly what we do about it.

01The problem

Half your visitors arrive on a phone

Belgian browsing is now split almost evenly between phones and desktops, and the phone half decides fastest. A slow page, a language switcher that drops people back on the home page, or a form that fights the keyboard sends them straight back to the search results.

49.63% of web page views in Belgium came from mobile phones in September 2026, against 47.87% from desktops Source: StatCounter Global Stats
How we fix it

Quick on a phone, in every language

  • Phone layouts designed first, then widened for desktop
  • A language switcher that keeps visitors on the same page in Dutch, French or English
  • Core Web Vitals targets in the contract, tested on each language version
02The problem

Customers search in Dutch or French and find a rival

A buyer in Antwerp searches in Dutch, one in Liège in French, and many people in Brussels in English. If only one language version of your site is built to rank, two of those three buyers may never see you.

87.88% of searches in Belgium ran on Google in September 2026, with Bing on 8.61% Source: StatCounter Global Stats
How we fix it

Get found in each language you sell in

  • Separate URLs and hreflang tags, so Google shows each reader the right language
  • Keyword research done natively in Dutch and French, not translated from English
  • Google Business Profile, local SEO and Google Ads set up language by language
03The problem

Every competitor has a website. Few of them convert.

Almost nine in ten Belgian firms with ten or more staff already run a site, so simply being online sets you apart from nobody. What wins the enquiry is a clear price logic, proof written in the reader's own language and a reply that lands before a rival's does.

89.0% of Belgian enterprises with ten or more staff had a website in 2025, against 79.0% across the EU Source: Eurostat, ICT usage in enterprises (isoc_ciweb), 2025
How we fix it

Turn more of your visitors into enquiries

  • Pages that settle price, process and proof before the buyer has to ask
  • Forms, error messages and confirmation emails in the visitor's language
  • Instant lead alerts, so no enquiry sits unanswered overnight
04The problem

Belgian accessibility and cookie rules now reach small sites

Belgium's accessibility law has covered e-commerce since 28 June 2025, and it excludes micro-enterprises only until 28 June 2030. The data protection authority's cookie checklist also rules out an 'accept all' button unless a 'refuse all' button sits on the same layer.

2030 the year Belgium's temporary exclusion of micro-enterprises from its accessibility law for e-commerce and banking services ends, on 28 June Source: Law of 5 November 2023, article 40, Moniteur belge
How we fix it

Compliance built into every language version

  • Every language version tested to WCAG 2.2 AA with keyboard and screen reader
  • Cookie banners with refuse as easy as accept, and nothing loaded before a choice
  • An accessibility statement and privacy notice in each language the site uses
The Brussels market

Bilingual by law, multilingual in practice.

Brussels-Capital is the only bilingual region in Belgium's Constitution, and its 1,255,834 residents include speakers of French, Dutch, English and many other languages. Of the region's 122,725 VAT-registered businesses, 82% have no employees, and one-person business-services firms grew by 7,862 between 2015 and 2024. Your competition is large, lean and fluent in several languages.

We build Brussels sites with French and Dutch as complete versions, and English wherever you sell to the international community around the European Quarter. Each version gets its own URLs, hreflang tags and consent text, and enquiries are tracked by language, so you can see which audience is buying and where your budget should go.

Straight answers

Questions Brussels businesses ask.

How much does a website cost in Brussels?

Our prices start at €350 for a site of up to five pages and €700 for an online store, and most bespoke 6 to 15 page sites come to €600 to €800. A French and Dutch site adds one language in the calculator. LUNIDEV's 2026 guide puts Belgian agency rates at €50 to €150 an hour, so we agree one fixed price in euros, in writing, before any work begins.

Should a Brussels website be in French, Dutch or English?

Often all three. Brussels-Capital is officially bilingual, and many buyers around the European Quarter read English first. We look at who actually enquires, then decide which pages need French and Dutch, which need English, and which can stay in a single language.

Can you build sites for EU associations and public affairs firms?

Yes. These organisations publish position papers, events and member news, often in English with French or Dutch summaries. We set up publishing with an approval step, turn key PDFs into accessible web pages, and build searchable archives so your positions are easy to find and cite.

I am a freelance consultant in Brussels. Is a five-page site enough?

Usually, yes. One-person business-services firms in Brussels grew by 7,862 between 2015 and 2024, so you are compared with thousands of peers. A starter site from €350, with a sharp offer, named credentials and a short enquiry form, launches in two to three weeks.

Can a Brussels restaurant or hotel take more direct bookings?

Yes. Hospitality and tourism employers in Brussels grew 17.2% between 2015 and 2024, and guests arrive reading many languages. We build reservation-first pages with menus in French, Dutch and English, connect your booking system and trace every reservation back to the channel that produced it.
