Web Design & Marketing Agency in Finland

Web design and marketing that grows Finnish businesses.

We build fast websites in Finnish, Swedish and English for businesses across Finland, where 98.5% of firms with ten or more staff already have a site, so yours has to work harder than the rest. We run the SEO and ads that bring buyers to it, at fixed prices in euros, with a written reply within one working day and everything we build registered to you.

Sound familiar?

Four reasons Finnish websites lose customers.

Each one is common, measurable and fixable. Here is what goes wrong, and exactly what we do about it.

01The problem

Your site was built for a desk, and half your visitors are on a phone

In Finland, phones now account for almost as many page views as computers. A site designed on a wide screen and squeezed onto a phone hides its prices, shrinks its buttons and loses the visitor before the first scroll.

48.4% of web page views in Finland came from mobile phones in September 2026, almost level with desktops on 50.0% Source: StatCounter Global Stats
How we fix it

One site that works on both screens

  • Layouts drawn at phone width first, then widened for the desktop buyers who still compare on a big screen
  • Core Web Vitals targets in the contract, tested on real handsets before launch
  • Prices, contact routes and the quote form visible without hunting on either device
02The problem

Your site speaks one language, your buyers use two or three

Finland has two national languages, and many firms also sell to buyers who read English. Half of Finnish firms with ten or more staff already publish in more than one language, so a single-language site looks smaller than it is.

50.2% of Finnish firms with 10 or more staff have website content in at least two languages, against 29.5% across the EU (2025) Source: Eurostat, isoc_ciweb 2025
How we fix it

Finnish, Swedish and English, planned together

  • Each language version planned in the sitemap before design, with real pages rather than a translation widget
  • Separate URLs and hreflang tags, so Google shows each visitor the right version
  • Forms, confirmation emails and receipts in the language the visitor chose
03The problem

Buyers search, and the competitor with the better page wins

Nearly nine in ten Finnish searches run on Google, and Finnish is a heavily inflected language: a buyer may type the town or service in several different forms. Pages written around one keyword spelling miss many of the searches that should reach you.

86.31% of searches in Finland ran on Google in September 2026, with Bing on 5.6% and Yandex on 4.07% Source: StatCounter Global Stats
How we fix it

Found in Finnish, for the words buyers really use

  • Keyword research in Finnish that covers the inflected forms of your services and towns
  • A Google Business Profile in step with your site, with reviews answered in the reviewer's language
  • Google Ads for high-intent searches while organic rankings build
04The problem

Online shops now answer to Finland's accessibility law

Since 28 June 2025, most web shops selling to Finnish consumers have had to meet the accessibility requirements of the Act on the Provision of Digital Services, and Traficom supervises them. Its cookie rules are strict too: no pre-ticked boxes, and no consent assumed from browser settings.

€2m turnover or balance-sheet ceiling for the micro-enterprise exemption, which also requires fewer than 10 staff; every other consumer web shop is covered Source: Traficom, scope of the Act on the Provision of Digital Services
How we fix it

Accessibility and consent, built in

  • Every page checked against the WCAG 2.1 A and AA criteria the Act names, and tested to WCAG 2.2 AA as our own standard
  • Cookie banners that follow Traficom's guidance: nothing pre-ticked, no consent from continued use, no cookies on legitimate interest
  • A privacy notice for the GDPR and the Data Protection Act that matches what the site really collects

Straight answers

Questions Finnish businesses ask.

How much does a website cost in Finland?

With us, a website of up to five pages starts at €350, an online store at €750, and a bespoke 6 to 15 page site usually costs €650 to €850. For context, Eurostat puts Finland's overall price level 18.5% above the EU average. Price your exact scope in the calculator, and we confirm a fixed figure in euros, in writing.

What is included in the price?

Every site comes with a phone-first design, checks against the WCAG 2.1 criteria in the Act on the Provision of Digital Services plus testing to WCAG 2.2 AA, a cookie banner set up the way Traficom expects, a privacy notice for the GDPR and the Data Protection Act, Core Web Vitals targets, GA4 and enquiry tracking, on-page SEO, and full ownership of your domain, code and content. Copywriting, extra languages and features such as booking are priced in the calculator.

Will my site be in Finnish, Swedish or both?

We build client sites in Finnish and English as standard, and add Swedish wherever your customers expect it: 5.0% of people in Finland speak Swedish as their first language, and it is the majority language in a number of coastal municipalities. All project communication with you is in written English. Finland ranks 12th of 123 countries on EF's English Proficiency Index, so most owners review briefs and staging notes in English with ease.

Does the accessibility law apply to my online shop?

If you sell to consumers online and are not a micro-enterprise, almost certainly. Since 28 June 2025 the Act on the Provision of Digital Services has covered e-commerce, with the WCAG 2.1 A and AA criteria as its web standard and Traficom as supervisor. Micro-enterprises, with fewer than 10 staff and no more than €2 million in turnover or balance sheet, are exempt, but Traficom encourages them to comply anyway, and we build every shop to the same standard.

Can Traficom act against us over our cookie banner?

Yes. Traficom cannot issue administrative fines for cookie breaches, but it can order a fix and back the order with a conditional fine, and it publishes its decisions by company name, most recently in October 2025. We set up consent so that nothing non-essential runs before a visitor chooses, and refusing is as easy as accepting.

Do you have a Finnish office?

No. We have no office in Finland: we serve Finnish businesses remotely and in writing. You send the brief online, receive a written proposal with a fixed price in euros, follow the work on a shared project board and review a staging link every week until launch.
