Four reasons US websites lose customers.

Each one is common, measurable and fixable. Here is what goes wrong, and exactly what we do about it.

01The problem

Your website loses people on their phones

Most visitors arrive on a phone. If the page is slow, cramped or confusing, they leave and call the next business on the list.

48% of websites passed Google's Core Web Vitals speed test on mobile in July 2025, so most still fail it Source: HTTP Archive Web Almanac 2025
How we fix it

A fast, modern website built for phones first

  • Designed for mobile first, then desktop
  • Built to pass Google's Core Web Vitals, with the targets written into the contract
  • A clear next step on every page: call, book or request a quote
02The problem

Customers can't find you, so they find a competitor

If you are not on the first page of Google, in the map results or in AI answers, buyers never see you, however good your work is.

How we fix it

Get found on Google, Maps and AI search

  • SEO for the searches your buyers actually make
  • Google Business Profile and local SEO for every area you serve
  • Google Ads that appear the moment buyers search, measured on real leads
03The problem

Visitors arrive, but the inquiries don't follow

Traffic means nothing if the page doesn't persuade, the form asks too much, or nobody replies fast enough.

7x as likely to qualify a web lead when US firms tried to contact it within an hour, compared with waiting longer Source: Harvard Business Review, 2011
How we fix it

Turn more visitors into paying customers

  • Pages that answer buyer questions and show proof where doubt appears
  • Short forms that qualify leads without scaring them off
  • Instant follow-up emails and lead alerts, so no inquiry goes cold
04The problem

An inaccessible website is a legal risk

US businesses are sued over websites that disabled visitors cannot use, and the number of cases is rising.

Straight answers

Questions US businesses ask.

How much does a website cost in the US?

Our prices start at $400 for a website of up to five pages and $800 for an online store, and a bespoke 6 to 15 page site typically comes to $700 to $900. For comparison, WebFX's 2026 pricing guide puts custom agency websites at about $3,000 to $30,000 or more. Use the calculator for your exact scope; we confirm a fixed price in dollars, in writing.

What is included in the price?

Every website includes mobile-first design, accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA, Core Web Vitals speed targets in the contract, GA4 and conversion tracking, on-page SEO foundations, and full ownership of your domain, code and content. Copywriting, extra languages and features such as online booking or a client portal are priced in the calculator.

Can my business be sued over its website's accessibility?

Yes, and claims are rising. Seyfarth Shaw counted 3,117 federal website accessibility lawsuits in 2025, 27% more than in 2024, and that total leaves out state courts. No website can be made lawsuit-proof, but building and testing to WCAG 2.2 AA removes the barriers that make a site unusable for disabled visitors. It is our default on every project.

Which privacy laws apply to my website?

That depends on your size and where your visitors live. California's CCPA applies to businesses that meet one of its thresholds, such as annual revenue above $26,625,000, and 20 states have comprehensive privacy laws in effect in 2026. If your site is aimed at children, the compliance date for the FTC's amended COPPA Rule was April 22, 2026. We map what your site collects and build consent and opt-out controls to match; your lawyer confirms which laws apply.

We sell to state or local government. What does the Title II rule mean for us?

Public bodies must bring their websites to WCAG 2.1 AA. Since the April 2026 interim final rule, the deadline is April 26, 2027 for governments serving 50,000 people or more and April 26, 2028 for smaller ones. If you build, host or supply web content for them, expect accessibility to be written into the contract. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA and document the testing.

Does Bing matter for a US website?

More than many owners assume. Google handled 85.19% of US searches in September 2026, but Bing took 9.89%, close to one search in ten. We verify every site in both Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, submit sitemaps to each, and check that both have indexed your key pages.
